Dolores Lisse
(Lifetime Ambassador)

Our beloved Dolores Lisse passed from this world on December 14th, 2020.  She was 55 years old and  from Huber Heights, Ohio. She was a molecular geneticist and a business owner as well as a wife, mother, and grandmother. She ran an autism awareness and support group for parents and grandparents to help guide and support those with children on the spectrum. She had spent many years in the pageant system. She competed for many years and was also a pageant trainer and judge. She was currently a pageant sponsor for two young ladies before her passing. She was a huge supporter of LOE and loved entering her grandson into their contests. Her hobbies included collecting antiques, hiking, competing in mud runs and 5K’s, painting, and gardening. She was a very active animal rights activist. She had a wolf, wolfdog, chocolate lab, and a cat. Wolves were Dolores’ absolute passion. She along with her grandson and wolf did local talks to educate on the importance of wolf conservation. She had worked closely with wolves for 46 years. She also visited the VA hospital to help veterans who are suffering from PTSD. She also did a great deal of wildlife rescue. She volunteered at her church’s food pantry as well as at several local animal shelters and rescues. Dolores' goal was to continue to educate those on wolf conservation. Her life time ambition was  to help her grandson open a sanctuary for wolves and wolfdogs and to give people the opportunity to interact closely with them.

She will forever be missed and we have set up an annual sponsorship in honor of her memory.
